Chemical Departmental Advisory Board (DAB) Meeting
The Chemical Departmental Advisory Board Meeting was held on 30th June 2022 through Google meet. Prof. A. K. Bandsode welcomed and introduced the advisory board members. Dr Nitin G. Kanse, Head, Department of Chemical Engineering gave an overview of the department such as infrastructure, activities conducted, achievements, placements, and results in the department.
It was followed by an open discussion among members of the Departmental Advisory Board. Mr Ajay Take, the industry representative on the board, appreciated the efforts taken by the department for the benefit of the students. Dr Chandu Madankar, the academician on the board suggested collaborative project work with reputed institutes in the country. He also appreciated departmental activities. Mr Deep Shelar, a TE Chemical student on the board requested to start GATE guidance in the department. Mr Sahaji Chavan, the industry representative on the board, appealed for the involvement of the student in solving real-time industrial problems. Dr Nitin G. Kanse appreciated the suggestions and assured the members to implement them in the department.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. A. K. Bandsode.
