Celebration of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti 2023
The birth anniversary of the Founder of the Maratha Empire is celebrated on 19th February every year. The day is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of the great leader. This year’s celebration marks the 392nd birth anniversary of the great Maratha warrior.
The Department of Electrical Engineering of Finolex Academy of Management and Technology, Ratnagiri, celebrated Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti to remember the innumerable qualities of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, like an Efficacious organizer, Strategic Visionary, Great warrior, Enlightened administrator, Inspiring leader, and Obedient son.
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti was celebrated in the presence of a total of 152 students and 11 faculty members and staff from the institute. The Festival started with pooja followed by aarti of the idol by Hon. Principal Dr. Kaushal Prasad, Dr. Nitin Kanse, the Head of the Chemical Engineering Department, and Dr. Jayant Mane, the Head of the Electrical Engineering Department accompanied by the faculty members and students.
The event venue and pathways in the college campus were decorated with flowers and rangoli by the students. Dr. Jayant Mane, Cultural secretary Miss. Suhana Shaikh, EESA boy’s representative Mr. Saideep Rasal and EESA girl’s representative Miss. Afshan Majgaonkar coordinated this event.
On the day of celebration the sequence of events was as follows-
In the morning 7am to 9am Mashal Rally from Bhagawati Devi mandir to FAMT campus via Maruti mandir executed by very few students from across the departments of FAMT and Dr. Jayant Mane.
From 9am to 10am Dhol-Tasha rally inside the FAMT campus.
From 10 am to 11 am Pooja, Aarti and prasad distribution.
From 11 am to 11:30 am Speech by Miss. Pawar CSE Dept .
From 11.30 am to 11.45 am Powada singing event by the students.
From 11.45 am to 12 noon a Self-Defense demonstration was performed
From 12 noon to 12.30 Pushup competition for boys was held.
At 5pm evening aarti and end of the celebration event
