Programme on Cyber Crimes: Awareness and Prevention
Internal Complaint Committee of Finolex Academy of Management and Technology organized a session on ‘Cyber Crimes: Awareness and Prevention’ on 4th March 2022 at 11 a.m. through online and offline mode simultaneously. Mr Nitin Puralkar- Assistant Inspector of Police, Cyber Crime Investigation Department, Ratnagiri addresses the audience. He was accompanied by Mrs Nisha Kelkar- Head Constable.
Mr Puralkar explained how the increasing use of social media and online transactions, frequent cases of fraud are taking place these days causing physical and mental harm to the people. He further added that the Department of Police has launched social awareness programme titled- ehSAS to aware the people. He explained many prevention strategies regarding cybercrimes and made the audience aware of different types of Cyber Crimes.
Internal Complaint Committee Convener Dr Sharada Chougule introduced the Programme. Principal Dr Kaushal Prasad expressed his views regarding the prevention of Cyber Crimes and Prof. Vrinda Kulkarni presented a vote of thanks. The Programme was anchored by Prof. Neha Marathe. A total of 67 students and faculty attended the programme.
