Brainwaves 2K25 – Robot Vision Workshop 1.0
The Finolex Academy of Management and Technology (FAMT) successfully organized ‘Robo Vision Workshop 1.0’ under the annual technical fest Brainwaves 2k25. The workshop, which aimed at providing hands-on experience in robotics, focused on Line-Following and Obstacle-Avoidance robots.
A total of 90 students participated in the workshop. Due to the overwhelming response and high participation, the workshop was conducted over two days to accommodate all participants.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. S. B. Kulkarni, Dean Faculty, followed by a special address by Principal Dr. Kaushal Prasad on February 03. He appreciated the initiative and encouraged future workshops on Drone Technology. He also acknowledged the efforts of Brainwaves Coordinators Prof. Nikhil Kasar and Prof. Sprooha Athalye, along with Technical Secretaries Sujay Khedekar and Isha Katake.
The workshop was led by Prof. A. R. Sutar, who provided in-depth knowledge of Arduino UNO, Motor Drivers, and Sensors. Later, Madhav Sawant (Coordinator, the Robo Vision Workshop) guided students through the process of building autonomous robotic cars.
The workshop concluded with positive feedback, with students expressing their eagerness for more hands-on robotics workshops in the future.
The participation certificate distribution ceremony was conducted on 06 February 2025. Principal Dr. Kaushal Prasad awarded all participants with the certificates.
