Blood Donation Camp on Founder’s Day
To commemorate Founders’ Day, the NSS Unit of Finolex Academy of Management and Technology (FAMT), in association with the FAMT Engineering Students’ Association (FESA) and Dhanwantari Charitable Trust, Ratnagiri, organised a Blood Donation Camp on 12th March 2025 at the FAMT campus.
The camp aimed to promote the noble cause of blood donation and encourage students and faculty members to contribute to society by helping save lives. The response to the initiative was overwhelmingly positive, with a total of 71 donors, including 6 faculty members and 65 students from various branches of FAMT, volunteering to donate blood.
The medical team from Dhanwantari Charitable Trust ensured that all safety and hygiene protocols were strictly followed throughout the process. Pre-donation health check-ups were conducted for all participants to ensure their eligibility for blood donation.
The event highlighted the spirit of service, unity, and compassion within the FAMT community. The NSS Unit, along with FESA, extends heartfelt thanks to all the donors and the Dhanwantari Charitable Trust for their dedicated service and support.
