FAMT Student Chapters organized Beach Cleaning Campaign
On occasion of celebration of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi , The Student chapters – ISHRAE, ASHRAE, FSAI, ASME of FAMT organized a Beach Cleaning Campaign at Mandavi on Monday, 24th September, 2018 in association with Ratnagiri Municipality. Around 130 student members of FAMT Student chapters were present for cleaning of the beach, day after Ganesh Visarjan.
The objective of this campaign is to clean beach which was full of flowers, idols, decoration material left after Ganesh Visarjan. The students worked earnestly, armed with gloves and did a commendable job of cleaning the beach.
The entire event was conducted under the guidance of Principal Dr. Kaushal Prasad, The dean Academics Dr. M. S. Kirkire and,HOD Mechanical Engg Department Prof. Milnd S. Yadav.
The Student Chapter Faculty Advisor Prof. Hemant V Chavan and Departmental Coordinator Prof. Abhijit M Date, Prof. Sachin S. Gurav along with ISHRAE student Chapter president Mr. Tejas S Kale, ASHRAE student Chapter president Mr. Rushikesh G Dale, FSAI student Chapter president Mr. Sumeet S Katale and studentmembers wereparticipated for the beach cleaning Campaign.
