ASHRAE Students Chapter Held STEM K-12 Outreach Activity No.04
ASHRAE FAMT chapter conducted a K-12 STEM activity at Zilha Parishad Purna Prathamik Shala Utkarshnagar, Ratnagiri on 18th February 2022. The activity was conducted to advance the awareness, understanding, and appreciation of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) in the K-12 student population.
The K-12 STEM Activity consisted of multiple activities related to Science, Technology Mathematics and Engineering as follows:
1.Vedic Mathematics
2.Introduction to Computer
3.General Science Quiz
4.Mathematics Quiz
In total, 111 students of the school participated in this activity. The program was coordinated by FAMT ASHRAE student members under the guidance of Faculty Advisor Prof. Hemant Chavan and Dr M. S. Kirkire, Dean Academics and HoD Mechanical Department, Dr Kaushal Prasad, Principal.
