ASENT Held Techspring 2023
Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering (EXTC) under the Association for Students of Electronics and Telecommunication (ASENT) organized the signature Technical event- TechSpring 2023 with the motto ‘SHOW YOUR SKILLS, EXPLORE YOUR TALENTS’ from 28th February 2023 to 01st March 2023.
Mr Nilesh Wankhede (AGM, ZTTC BSNL Pune) and Mr Yogesh Bhongale (Senior Engineer, BSNL Ratnagiri) were the Chief guests for the inaugural function of TechSprin g2023.
The Chief Guests inaugurated TechSpring 2023 in presence of Dr Kaushal Prasad, Principal; Dr. S. V. Chougule, HOD -EXTC Department; Prof. G. S. Kulkarni; Prof. M. K. Zagade, Faculty Incharge – ASENT; Ms Shahzeen Budye and Mr Adeeb Shaikh, Student Chief Co-ordinator – ASENT.
Dr. S. V. Chougule, the Head – EXTC, welcomed all and introduced the chief guest. She emphasized the importance of organizing such events for the personal grooming of the students in her address. Dr Kaushal Prasad, the Principal, focused on the significance of organizing and participating in events for the career-building of students.
Mr Yogesh Bhongale motivated & appreciated the students for the systematic organization of the event in their inaugural talk. The Chief Guest Mr Nilesh Wankhede(AGM, ZTTC BSNL Pune) gave information to students on the topic “Evolution of Wireless Technology- 1G to 5G”. The dignitaries congratulated the students for a very successful event and praised their teamwork, management skills and collaboration for making fantastic decorations, and highlighting the latest telecom trends.
TechSpring 2023 encouraged the students to showcase their innovative ideas and technical excellence. The initiative was to encourage innovative ideas and technical excellence among students. Continuing the trend, this year also saw an overwhelming response and participation of students from various degree and diploma engineering institutes of the Konkan belt. The students enthusiastically participated & showcased their talent in Project Presentation, Circuitrix, Spell-Bee, Logic master, Fill in the code, Poster making, Pictionary, Stamp n Blind, Mehendi, Mobile Gaming and Photo Manipulation during this techfest.
The prize distribution and valedictory function were conducted on 01/03/2023. The programme was successfully concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr Adeeb Shaikh, Student Chief Coordinator ASENT.
This program served the following objectives:
- To participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular
- To improve Communication skills, leadership and team skills and overall personality.
- Make the interaction between students.
