In view to bridge the gap between the curriculum and current industry practices in the field of HVAC (Heating, Ventilating and Airconditioning) under the subject ‘Heat Transfer and Production Process’, an industrial visit was organised by the Department of Mechanical Engineering in association with ISHRAE Thane Chapter and ASHRAE Mumbai Chapter to Caryaire Equipments India Private Limited, Thane, for Third Year Mechanical Engineering ISHRAE student members on 6th October, 2018. Total 39 students members visited the plant.
Caryaire Equipments is a manufacturer of Air Distribution Division which includes Linear Grills, Ceiling Diffusers, Linear Slot Diffusers Jet Nozzles, Spot Diffusers, Intake & Exhaust Louvers , Volume Control Dampers, Fire & Smoke Dampers, Back Draft & Pressure Relief Dampers, and Sound Attenuators and Ventilation & Trading Products such as Cabinet & Circular Inline Fans, Hydronic Cassette Type and Duct Fan Coil Units ,Propeller Fans, and Air Purification Units.
