In view of bridging the gap between the curriculum and current industry practices in the field of HVAC (Heating, Ventilating and Airconditioning) under the subject of Heat Transfer, Production Process, an Industrial Visit to Blue Star Limited, Wada, Thane, was organised by the department of Mechanical Engineering in association with ISHRAE Thane Chapter for Mechanical Engineering ISHRAE student members on 5th January, 2019.
Blue Star Ltd. manufactures air conditioners, air purifiers & water coolers. It is India’s leading air conditioning and commercial refrigeration company, ACs, packaged air conditioners, chillers, cold rooms, refrigeration products and systems.
Total 14 student memberspartticpated in the field trip.This visit was organised by ISHRAE Faculty Advisor Prof. Hemant V Chavan with the permission and guidance of Dr.Kaushal Prasad, Principal, and Dr. Milind S. Yadav, Head of Mechanical Enginering Department.
