An Expert lecture on Cloud Security
Description of Event–
An Expert lecture on Cloud Security was organized by Information Technology department on 28 April 2021. The total count of student attendees was 106 including SE and TE IT. The resource people invited for the webinar were Mr. Pratik Sonawane along with Mr. Jeet Raj Kumar, both are Sr. Cybersecurity Analysts and Trainers at NII and IIS, Mumbai. Mr. Jeet Raj Kumar interacted with students via the Google meet platform. The key takeaways for students were to determine and analyze cloud vulnerabilities and security solutions to reduce the risk of exploitation, Implement cloud security solutions, use of cloud security for information assurance, and cloud security software/tools. The students were provided with an insight to design and develop a cloud based security architecture for an organization and design operational or strategic cloud security strategies and policies. The event was initiated by Hod IT, Dr. Vinayak Bharadi and organized by Prof. Atiya Kazi. All the students expressed a vivid interest in attending and benefiting from more such expert lectures in future.
