An Online AMCAT Assessment Test was arranged on 27th February, 2019 for Final year engineering students of FAMT, Ratnagiri.
AMCAT is India’s largest employability test. The AMCAT is a computer adaptive test which measures students on critical areas like communication skills, logical reasoning, quantitative skills and job specific domain skills thus helping recruiters identify the suitability of a candidate. Taking AMCAT can open up multiple job opportunities for students and it also provides detailed employability feedback with suggested resources for improving the skills and increasing chances of getting a job. Detailed feedback of AMCAT also helps students to identify their strong and weak areas so that they can work to improve in highlighted areas or apply for specific industries/jobs where their strengths are better suited.
Total 143 students attended the online test. Prof. Kishor Bhosale (TPO), Prof. Atul Yadav (Placement Officer) and Prof. Mahadev Naik (Training Officer) took initiative to organize the program. The department coordinators assisted them for smooth conduction of the program.
