Alumni Interaction session on Preparing for Higher Education Abroad
An Alumni Interaction session on ‘Preparing for Higher Education Abroad’was organized by the Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering department on 19 June, 2021. Ms. Pallavi Salvi (FAMT, EXTC alumni) delivered a session for EXTC students through Google Meet. She was placed in Vodafone through campus drive by FAMT. She has 5 years of working experience in Telecommunication Field.
This session was attended by 40+students of EXTC classes. The session helped students to know about how to plan for higher education abraod. Ms Pallavi Salvi explained the complete step-by-step plan for preparation of higher studies abroad.
It includes the points such as:
- How to make your LOR/SOP strong
- Preparation of GRE/TOFEL
- Selection on Universities
- Financial planning
- Applying for visa
- Useful links for guidance
The session gave a guidelines for students, preparing for higher studies aboard.
Principal Dr. Kaushal Prasad shared his views regarding the alumni interaction and importance of participation curricular and extra-curricular activities, projects, research papers etc. alongwith academics in student phase of graduation.
The session was superintended by the Head of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Department, /Dr. S. V. Chougule along with Prof. Mansi Kolwankar as the Departmental coordinator. The session was hosted by Prof.Vinayak D Chavan. The participants shown intense interest in attending such sessions in future also.
