Alumni Interaction on Career Path for E&TC Engineers
An Online Alumni Session on Career Path for E&TC Engineers was organized by the Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Department on 15th January 2022.
Mr Vishal Chitale, Sr. Software Engineer at Hella GmBH, Pune and Mr Harihar Dongare, Sr. Software Engineer, Embedded Software Testing Knorr-Bremse Technology Center India, alumni of the 2017 E&TC batch, delivered the session for E&TC students through Google Meet.
This session was attended by 50+ students of S.E, T.E. and B.E. E&TC along with a few faculty members of the department. The session helped students to know about opportunities for E&TC Engineers in Public Sector, Embedded field, etc.
Mr Vishal Chitale explained the importance of a strong resume and various ways to improve the resume through additional certifications, internships, projects, publications etc. Mr Harihar Dongare explained the importance of programming language and self-learning with the online resources. They also explained how E&TC Engineers can blend themselves in the Electronics and IT fields.
The session was superintended by the Head of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Department, Dr. S. V. Chougule along with Prof. Mansi Kolwankar as the Department coordinator. The vote of thanks was expressed by Prof Giri Kulkarni. The participants interacted with alumni and also showed interest in attending such alumni sessions in future.
