Alumni Guest Lecture On “Business Process Management and Features”
The Department of Information Technology organized an Alumni Guest Lecture on “Business Process Management and Features” for all IT students on 6th March 2021. The guest speaker was Mr Abhijit Mane (FAMT, IT Alumnus), Technical Lead at CHUBB Inc. USA delivered a session through Google Meet.
He highlighted application areas of Software Development. He also talked about the roles of IT Engineers as they progress in their career, the requisite skill set, ways to build the skill set, companies recruiting software developers, ways to search these jobs and overall to prepare for a career in the IT field. He also briefly talked about the WSDL(Webservices Description Language) required for becoming a successful Software Engineer in Business Process Management.
The event was coordinated by Prof. S.Sankareswari. This session was attended by 80 students of SE, TE and BE IT, classes. The participants showed intense interest in attending such sessions in future.
