Add-On Course on Major Project
Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering organized an Add-on course on Major Project for final year E&TC students from 21/09/2022. The course covered the following points:
- Plan of execution for BE project
- Literature survey
- How to write a review paper
- How to write a full-length paper
- Plagiarism checking
- Preparation of Major Project -I report
- How to prepare an effective PowerPoint presentation
- Announcement of ‘Review paper writing competition
The Add-on course was attended by a total of 60 students. The program started with an outline of Add On course by /Dr. S. V. Chougule, Head of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Department.
Prof. R. R. Kulkarni guided the students about how to do a literature survey effectively and how to write a review paper, full-length paper and how to prepare an effective PowerPoint presentation. She also highlighted the procedure to publish their work in reputed journals and conferences.
In the same session, Prof. A. A. Chavan demonstrated plagiarism checking. Explained common mistakes which students make while writing project reports and how to avoid them. Also asked students to keep a record of activities of project work weekly in a logbook.
/Dr. S. V. Chougule, H.O.D, EXTC announced the ‘Review paper writing ‘ competition and asked to submit review papers by 10 October 2022. Certificates will be distributed to all winners and participants.
