A Webinar on Statistical Process Control
Indian Machine Tool Manufacture’s Association (IMTMA) organized a Webinar on Statistical Process Control on Wednesday, 29th June 2022 in online mode for the students of Final Year Mechanical Engineering. Mr Gautam Doshi (Advisor, IMTMA) was the speaker for the webinar.
The students learnt to how Quality and Cost Management are the keys to being a world-class manufacturer. Mr Gautam Doshi demonstrated how SPC or Statistical Process Control is a game-changing tool for cost reduction and the application of SPC on a company’s processes provides significant insights into the process. He empathized with the need to learn SPC techniques and their applications. The session ended with a question- answer round and a vote of thanks.
The webinar was attended by 26 students. The program was organized under the guidance of Dr M. S. Kirkire, HoD Mechanical. Prof. Harshal Salvi coordinated the webinar successfully.
