A Webinar on Rapid Prototyping 3D Printing and Tiny Machine Learning
The Department of Mechanical Engineering planned a webinar for the students by an industry expert. Mr Atul Yadav (Project Manager, Infosys) delivered a Webinar on Rapid Prototyping-3DPrinting and Tiny Machine Learning, on Saturday 23rd October 2021 at 10 AM through Google Meet.
Mr Atul Yadav has completed his graduation in Mechanical Engineering and is currently working with Infosys, Pune as a Project Manager. He has 18+ years of experience spanned mainly in Infosys and SKF Bearings. The webinar was started with an introduction of the keynote speaker by Dr Tarang Shinde (Associate Professor, Mechanical Engineering Department).
Mr Atul Yadav, during his session, explained 3D printing technologies along with details about Tiny Machine Learning. He explained about scope, basic concepts and knowledge about the application of3D Printing, Machine Learning and its applications. The takeaway of the talk was to the subject content of the mechanical branch that is important for a career in this specific domain. He shared his experience in the corporate field and organization. He also explained the type of skill sets that are required to build a career in the same domain and Infosys Placement activities.
From the Department of Mechanical Engineering, a total of 98 students participated in the webinar. Dr Tarang Shinde and Prof. P. R. Kamble from the Mechanical Engineering department organized this event.
