The Information Technology Department organized three Days Technical Workshop on Cyber Security in association with ATS Learning Solutions(Microsoft Authorized Education partner) which aims to promote Microsoft certifications for students and faculty. The workshop was conducted from 23-01-2020 to 25-01-2020 for a batch of 58 Students from SE and TE IT. The workshop was initiated by IT Hod, Dr Vinayak Bharadi along with faculty co-ordinator Ms Atiya R Kazi. The hands-on session was conducted in the IT Seminar Hall. The workshop trainer was Mr Jai Choudhary from ATS, who is an Information Security Consultant for Grant Thornton India. He has relevant experience in Network and Web Application Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT). He provided detailed demonstrations on vulnerability/risk/threat assessments, configuring and monitoring network security solutions. He helped the students gain hands-on experience in suggesting and implementing security solutions and workaround for the gaps and Vulnerabilities with prerequisite recommendations (technical and administrative) to defend against potential attacks.
