A Seminar on Preparing for Better Career Opportunities
First Year Engineering Students’ Association of Finolex Academy of Management and Technology organized a Seminar on “Preparing for Better Career Opportunities” for the students of First Year Engineering between 20 March 2024 to 29 March 2024
Dr. D. S. Nangre, the event coordinator, welcomed Dr. Kaushal Prasad, the principal of the institute. Dr. Kaushal Prasad delivered a motivating speech to students focusing on the significance of science and engineering in their careers. He emphasized the importance of innovation and urged students to give their best efforts. Highlighting the crucial role of the first year in laying the foundation for engineering skills, he stressed the rapid pace of technological advancement. Dr. Prasad guided effective studying techniques and emphasized the importance of acquiring additional technical and soft skills in today’s competitive landscape. He encouraged students to utilize online platforms provided by the institute for skill enhancement and to complete relevant courses. Additionally, he advised students to prioritize improving their communication skills alongside technical expertise. Dr. Prasad motivated students to focus on practical engineering skills and to prepare themselves for the placements by developing the necessary competencies.
A total of 233 students attended the programme. Thanks to Dr. Y. G. Mulye, Professor and Head of First Year Engineering Department, for the guidance and necessary support. Prof. Pranav Thakur provided technical support for the program.
