Alumni Interaction on Career Guidance in Software Engineering
Department of Information Technology organized an Alumni Session on Career Guidance in Software Engineering for IT students. Mr Sumit Desai from Neosoft Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai, an Alumnus of the 2015 FAMT IT batch, was the resource person for the same. The event was held on 31 March 2022 through Google Meet.
Mr Sumit Desai explained the importance of a strong resume and various ways to improve the resume through additional certifications, internships, projects etc. He also talked about the Current Trends in Information Technology, Job opportunities as a Software Developer and Software Testing. He explained the fundamentals of software engineering and assigned hands-on tasks and quizzes to the participants during the session.
The alumni interaction session was successfully coordinated by Prof. S. Sankareswari. A total of 60 students benefited from the conducted Expert Lecture.
