A Talk on The Life and Works of Mahatma Gandhi to Celebrate 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi
A talk by Dr. R. H. Kamble- Head, Department of History, Gogate-Jogalekar College, Ratnagiri was organized on ‘Life and works of Mahatma Gandhi’ to celebrate 150th birth anniversary of Gandhiji at FAMT. It was arranged on 1st October 2018, at the Seminar Hall of FAMT by Cultural Committee.
Dr. Kamble focused the contributions of Mahatma Gandhi in the freedom struggle of India. He elaborated Gandhi’s thoughts, philosophy and its importance and relevance in today’s age. He showed Gandhiji’s versatility through different incidences from his life.
Many students and faculty members were present for the said programme. The programme was organized under the guidance of Principal Dr. Kaushal Prasad, Registrar Mr. Gajanan Targaonkar and Faculty In-charge Student Affairs Prof. Dnyanesh Joshi. Prof. Darshana Bapat anchored the programme. Prof. Kotawdekar and Prof. Bobade took efforts to make the programme successful.
