Departmental Advisory Board (DAB) Meeting
The Departmental Advisory Board Meeting was held on 01 March 2025 in hybrid (online and offline) mode. The members of the Departmental Advisory Board (DAB) were from different domains such as industry, academicians, alumni, students and parents.
Prof. M. S. Modak briefly introduced all Departmental Advisory Board (DAB) members. HoD – Electrical Dr J. J. Mane presented information about the Department, such as facilities available, rank holders, result analysis and placement details of the department. He also explained outcome-based education, and steps taken by the department to achieve the same. He also explained the implementation of activity-based learning in the department. Prof. M. S. This was followed by an open discussion among members of DAB. Mr. Rajesh Shirsat congratulated the department for the formation of the Bureau of Indian Standards Club. He also suggested to organize events for students, for personality development and communication skills of students. He also emphasized guidance to students about AI and data science.
Mr. Advait Halbe (Alumni Representative) emphasized the development of students’ work ethics. He also suggested to organize a seminar on financial planning for students. Mrs. Mdhura Athavale asked to make students aware of the power of meditation. Mrs. Sharayu R Dhamapurkar suggested training for teachers to improve their teaching skills. Mr. Parth Dhamapurkar suggested organizing a seminar to encourage students’ business/creative ideas. Mrs Avane Athavle suggested more involvement of students in social work and industrial visits.
