Utopia 2023
After a gap of two years, the most awaited annual cultural gathering of FAMT- Utopia 2023 took place on 3rd, 4th and 5th March 2023. On the first day, the inaugural function was organized in the morning session. Honorable Dr. Bharat Agarwal (President, Vishwakarma University and Vishwakarma Institutes Group) was the Chief Guest of the Function. Dr. Vaishali Patil (Principal- I2IT, Pune) was the guest of honor for the inaugural function. Honorable President of Hope Foundation, Mrs. Aruna M. Katara, Principal- Dr. Kaushal Prasad and Dean Faculty – Dr. S. B. Kulkarni also shared the dais with the dignitaries. Ms. Amrita Katara (Managing Trustee, Hope Foundation), Dr. Samita Mulani- Katara (Trustee- Hope Foundation), Mrs. Agarwal, Dr. Kishor Sukhtankar, Mr. Naviin Bijlani, Principal, Mukul Madhav Vidyalaya and Guests from Finolex Industries were also present for the inaugural function.
During the three days, many programmes and competitions took place under Utopia with a lot of enthusiasm. Swarsandhya- Marathi Orchestra, Voice of FAMT- Hindi Orchestra, Rock band- Instrumental and Western Singing, Dhol- Tasha, Natyarang- Marathi Dramas, Dances, Fashion, Image, Clashes of Titans etc. are to note among them. Many students participated in those events and showcased their talent. All the performing artists of FAMT rocked with their fabulous performances during the three days of cultural festival ‘Utopia’. Along with the performances, there was a week full of celebration of different days including Traditional Day, Gang Day, Meme Day, Ghagra and Lungi Day and so on. The three days of Utopia proved the creative talent and extracurricular skills of FAMT students.
