The department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering organized a three days Workshop on “Networking Fundamentals with Hands on using NS-2 / NS-3 and Unified Communication” 27 January – 29 January, 2017 with the support of Prof. G.S. Kulkarni. Mr. Nilesh Deshmukh (M.S., Networking and Telecommunication, I2IT, Pune), currently serving as CTO Udaradhi Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Baner, Pune and Executive Committee Member (IEEE, Pune section) was the resource person for the workshop.
The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Kaushal Prasad (Principal, FAMT). Mr. Nilesh Deshmukh shared his expert views and industrial experiences inspiring the participants. Later hands- on sessions were conducted by Mr. Nilesh Deshmukh. The workshop acquainted the participants with the networking fundamentals and associated research prospects. The workshop was a perfect combination of theory and hands-on sessions and certainly helped the students to improve technical skill set and in-turn employability and the faculty participants to improve teaching methodology and efficiency.
Valedictory function was graced by Prof. Mrs. S. V. Chougule and Prof. G. G. Bhide. More than
40 participants actively participated with lots of zeal. Prof. S. D. Mainkar and Prof. V. D. Chavan coordinated the entire event for the purpose of smooth conduction.
