The Association for Students of Electronics and Telecommunication (ASENT) organized technical fest Techspring- 2K21 with a motto of ‘Accelerate your skills, show your best’ from 23 April 2021 to 24 April 2021through online mode.
Event was organized to provide platform and encourage students to showcase their innovative ideas and technical excellence. Though the event was conducted online, many students from various institutes participated with great enthusiasm. Events such as Innovative Project Idea Competition, Circuit Simulation, Group Discussion, Test Your Knowledge and Talent Hunt which includes Singing, Poem Writing and Sketching were organized as a part of this event.
The function was inaugurated by Principal Dr. Kaushal Prasad in the presence of Dr. S. V. Chougule (HOD-EXTC department), Prof. A. A. Chavan(Faculty Incharge, ASENT) and Ms.AadityaaVaradkar(Student Chief Co-ordinator, ASENT) along with department faculty members, staff and students.
Dr. S. V. Chougule, HOD EXTC, emphasized the importance of organizing such events in student’s life . It helps in grooming overall personality of students in terms of leadership, managing skills and team work.
Dr. Kaushal Prasad, Principal, apprisiated students efforts for organizing this event online and guided students . Prof. A. A. Chavan, Faculty Incharge, ASENT appreciated and motivated students for systematic organization of the event. Ms.AadityaaVaradkar(Student Chief Co-ordinator, ASENT) gave information about the online event planned. Ms. Sakhi Palkar BE EXTC hosted the inaugural function.
The event was successfully concluded on 24th April 2021 with the announcement of winners followed by the vote of thanks from Ms.AadityaaVaradkar.
This program served following objectives:
- To motivate students to participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities for balanced academics.
- To improve managing skills, leadership and team skills and overall Personality of students’.
- To improve interaction between students
