Association for Students of Electronics and Telecommunication (ASENT) organized the signature technical event- TechSpring 2k17 on February 10 and 11. Various events which included Project presentation, Circuit Building, Technical paper presentation, Spell-Bee, Tech-Photo, LAN gaming, CID and Robo-soccer were held as a part of the technical fest. The initiative was to encourage innovative ideas and technical excellence among students. Continuing the trend, this year also saw an overwhelming response and participation of the students from various degree and diploma engineering institutes of the Konkan belt. Around 700 students enthusiastically participated in various events. It has certainly facilitated the hidden talents to showcase their technical expertise and has also helped in bringing out the innovative tech-ideas for the betterment of society.
Principal Dr. Kaushal Prasad, Prof. G.S. Kulkarni (HOD-E&TC department), Prof. G.G. Bhide (HOD-Electronics department) and Mr. Rahul Shelke (Student Chief Co-ordinator,ASENT) were present on the dais. Dignitaries on the dais congratulated ASENT for the grand success of the event and also praised the collaborative efforts for making fantastic decoration highlighting latest telecom trends, teamwork & management skills of ASENT students’ team which made this event a successful one.
