Teachers Day Celebration by Association of Chemical Engineering Students (ACES)
Teachers play an important role in nurturing the students. Teacher’s Day celebrates this unparalleled contribution made by teachers for their students. The ceremonious occasion is celebrated in different ways across institutes.
On September 5th 2017, Chemical Engineering Students in association with Association of Chemical Engineering Students (ACES), celebrated Teacher’s Day by felicitating teachers. The programme started with offering garland to goddess Saraswati by Prof A K Bandsode, Head Chemical Engineering Department. It was followed by welcome address by the Asim Ibji, a final year student and felicitation of all faculty members of the department by the students.
Prof. Prashant A Giri, ACES Faculty In-charge addressed on this occasion and students from TE and BE Chemical Engineering coordinated the event. The word of thanks was given by final year student Devdatta Shinde.
