ASHARAE Held STEM K-12 Outreach Activity No.01 (2022-23)
ASHRAE FAMT Chapter conducted a K-12 STEM activity at Ratnagiri Nagar Parishad School No. 07, Nana Surve High school on 18th August 2022 by 05 ASHRAE student members. The activity was conducted to advance the awareness, understanding, and appreciation of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) in the K-12 student population.
The K-12 STEM Activity consisted of multiple activities related to Science, Technology Mathematics and Engineering which were conducted in the School:
1. Introduction to Computer
2. Robotics and Fun
3. Mathematics Quiz and Puzzle
4. Solar System
In total, 47 students from the school participated in this activity. The program was coordinated by FAMT ASHRAE student members under the guidance of faculty advisor Prof. Hemant V Chavan under the guidance of Dr M. S. Kirkire, Dean Academics and HoD Mechanical Department.
