Nature Club organized Social and Environmental Awareness Program to celebrate the festival of Makarsankranti with orphans and generate awareness about environment on 14th January 2018 at Sandipani Gurukul, Sangmeshwar. Sandipani Gurukul for orphans was established with the hard efforts of Shri Sarvottam Thakur. Gurukul has 54 acres land which grows mangos, coconut, and chikku trees.
The nature club members cleaned the Chikku Garden, collected information of Gandul Khat(fertilizer) and visited gandul khat beds. The students enjoyed interaction and playing game with the children of Gurukul. Mr. Kadreakar sir shared valuable guidance and time. Mr & Mrs. Karkhanis also guided the students on field. Prof. U. K. Samant, Faculty Incharge of FAMT nature Club guided to organize the visit.
