FAMT organized ‘Parents Meet’ for Third Year Engineering Students on 25 February, 2017. The agenda of the meeting was to interact with the parents, update them about initiatives of the academy for the students and seek their involvement in educating their wards.
Prof. V. S. Chougule, Coordinator of the meet, welcomed all the parents. Dr. Kaushal Prasad addressed the parents on preset scenario of the industry and the efforts by the academy to bridge the gap between industry and the institute. Prof. Kishor R. Bhosale, TPO, shared information about training and placement activities of the institute to improve students’performance in placements. Mr. G. D. Targaonkar delivered a talk on brief introduction to FAMT office system. Around 140 parents were present for this meeting, and interacted with the Principal & Third Year class Teachers. A team of T.E. faculty members were present for the meet. Prof. Y. A. Landge extended vote of thanks. The entire event was anchored by Prof. Prajakta Kotwal. It was followed by branch-wise parent meet where the parents were briefed about departmental initiatives and their pupil’s academic performance.
