FAMT Held Parents Meeting 2022-23
A Meeting of parents of SE and TE students (all branches) was held on 21-08-2022 from 10.30 AM onwards. The meet started with National Anthem and Saraswati Vandana. The parents and Dr Kaushal Prasad, (Principal) Dr S. B. Kulkarni (Dean faculty), Dr S. S. Goilkar (Dean R&D), Dr M. S. Kirkire (Dean Academics), Prof. Kishor Bhosale (TPO) and Mr G. D. Targaonkar (Registrar) were welcomed. Dr Kaushal Prasad felicitated Mrs Puranik and Mr Athavale as parent representatives.
The principal addressed the parents on the institute background, training programs and online courses on Coursera and IBM Skill offered by FAMT. He also briefed about Honours and Minors degree courses started by the university from the current academic year (2022-23). Prof. Kishor Bhosale, the Training and Placement Officer explained the objectives of the T&P Cell and training activities and different companies visiting FAMT for placement drives. Mr G. D. Targaonkar, the Registrar, explained the role of office and administration, eligibility criteria for different schemes and scholarships for students.
The parents interacted with the Principal and Registrar for their different queries. Prof. D. M. Bapat hosted the program and Dr M. S. Kirkire expressed a vote of thanks. A total of 146 parents attended the meeting. In the second session, the parents visited the respective department to an interaction with HOD, the class teachers and mentors.
