K12 (STEM) Programme in Association with FAMT ISHRAE Students’ Chapter
WDC in association with FAMT ISHRAE Students’ Chapter organized K12 (STEM) programme on January 12, 2018 at Zilla Parishad Primary School Kelye Marathi, Tal/ Dist- Ratnagiri.
K12 (STEM- Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) is an activity of performing small scientific projects for children in primary schools in order to impart practical knowledge and to sensitize them about basic concepts in science.
The sttudents of SE and TE (Mechanical) especially girls conducted interactive sessions for the students of 1st to 7th standards for creating interest in Mathematics. The participants were Kshitija Uttekar, Samiksha Yedve, Ashwini Vaidya, Mugdha Shinde, Sharvari Shinde, Meera Sinkar, Yogita Sawant, Harshada Gawade, Rushikesh Dale.
Prof. Gayatri J Abhyankar and Prof. Abhilasha S. Jadhav guided and accompanied the students on the visit.
