The Department of MCA and Student Association of MCA (SAM) organized a technical competition IT Talent Hunt 2020 on 21st January 2020 at FAMT, Ratnagiri.
Dr. Kaushal Prasad inaugurated the IT Talent Hunt 2020 competition with the lightening of the lamp and Saraswati pooja. Prof. Harshada U. Salvi, Prof. Rahul Kotawadekar – SAM Faculty In-charge, Prof. Ravindra V. Kerkar – Event Coordinator and faculty members of the Department of MCA were present. The IT Talent Hunt promoted the scholastic excellence and competence through healthy and fair competition among students of BSc (IT and Computer Science) and BCA. The competition received an overwhelming response of the students from different colleges of Sindhudurg and Ratnagiri districts.
The first round of IT Talent Hunt 2020 was held in December 2019 and January 2020 in various colleges of Sindhudurg and Ratnagiri districts. The top 10 performing students of each institute were selected for the second round held on 21st January 2020. A total of 27 students were shortlisted for the final round.
Ms. Shruti Tukaram Ghadigaonkar of Gogate Joglekar College won the first prize. Ms. Pooja Dattaram Mandavkar of Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha’s BCA College, Shirgaon, won the second prize and Mr. Mandar Pradip Shravankar of Kankavli College, Sindhudurg, won the third prize. Albin Pallipeedika and Priyanka Jadhav anchored the program. Aarati Dhaval expressed votes of thanks.
