Industrial Visit to NOOMAN Ice and Cold Storage, Ratnagiri.
On the 23rd of April 2024, the third-year Mechanical Engineering students visited Nooman Ice and Cold Storage, Ratnagiri. NOOMAN Ice and Cold Storage offers advanced industrial solutions for refrigeration and cold storage, making it a prime location for our students to learn.
The main aim of the visit was to give students hands-on experience with HVACR systems used in industrial settings, specifically focusing on cold storage facilities. During the visit, students were anticipated to learn about refrigeration system design, operation, and upkeep, along with understanding their practical applications, such as ice making.
The visit was arranged by Prof. V. S. Bagade and Prof. Hemant V. Chavan, from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, under the guidance of the Head of Department Dr. M. S. Kirkire. Lab Assistant Mr. V. V. Lohar and Mr. P. S. Korgaonkar also attended the visit.
