The Intellectual Property Right Cell of Finolex Academy of Management and Technology, Ratnagiri was inaugurated on 24 March, 2018 by the chief guest Mr. Dhruv Brahmbhatt, Managing Director and Miss. Pooja Menon, COO of My Crave Consultancy in presence of Dr. Kaushal Prasad, Principal, FAMT, Dr. Shashikant S. Goilkar, IPR Cell Committee Head and Dean R&D. Prof. Laxman D. Naiknaware welcomed all the dignitaries present and participants from various colleges.
Dr. Shashikant Goilkar introduced FAMT IPR Cell. The purpose of FAMT IPR Cell is to provide an encouraging environment to the faculty, staff members and students for creation of intellectual property which will be the big asset for an individual and the institute. This cell will provide support and guidance to all the employees and students in protecting their inventions and creations indifferent forms of intellectual properties.
Dr. Kaushal Prasad felicitated the chief guests. In his speech he welcomed the guest, emphasized the benefits of intellectual property rights and the importance of establishment of IPR Cell in our institute. He congratulated t RDCC for efforts put in formation of IPR Cell in FAMT.
Mr. Dhruv Brahmbhatt, Managing Director and Miss. Pooja Menon inaugurated the IPR Cell by launching IPR Cell Webpage on FAMT Website. Miss. Pooja Menon, in her address, described the current scenario of intellectual property in India. She highlighted the importance of patents. She appreciated institute’s efforts in establishing IPR Cell.
