Finolex Academy of Management and Technology inaugurated National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit on 09th October 2019. Dr. Kaushal Prasad, Principal, Dr. Rahul Marathe, NSS District Co-ordinator, Prof. U. K. Samant, Prof. A. A. Chavan, NSS Program Officers, and Prof. A. M. Date were present for the programme. The students welcomed and felicitated the chief guest and faculty members.
Dr. Kaushal Prasad, the Principal, offered the best wishes to the student volunteers for NSS activities. He explained the role of youth for the development of society and encouraged the students to use their technical knowledge for the betterment of society.
Dr. Rahul Marathe, NSS District Co-ordinator gave an Orientation Talk to NSS Volunteers explaining their role towards society and nation. He also explained the key attributes of NSS volunteers to serve the motto of NSS ‘NOT ME BUT YOU’ and emphasized on a plastic-free campus. NSS Unit took Swachata Pledge.
Shubham Deolekar and Ishani Korgaonkar, NSS Student Leaders, expressed gratitude to all the attendees for being part of the inaugural programme.
