FAMT hosted Inaugural Ceremony of 29th Road Safety Week
FAMT hosted 29th Road Safety Week Inaugural Ceremony on March 23rd April 2018; in collaboration with RTO Office, Finolex Industries Ltd, District Police Department, Collector Office, MSRTC and FAMT Ratnagiri.
The program aimed at creating awareness about road safety and avoiding accidents on the road. The ceremony was inaugurated in the presence of Mr. Abhijit Ghorpade (Resident Deputy Collector, Ratnagiri), Mr. Mitesh Ghatte (Additional Superintendent of Police, Ratnagiri), Mr. Vinod Chavan (Deputy Regional Transport Officer, Ratnagiri), Mr. Venkatravi (Vice President, FIL, Ratnagiri), Mr. M. D. Mehttar (Department controller, MSRTC, Ratnagiri), Mr. Kakade (Sr. General Manager, FIL, Ratnagiri), and Dr. Kaushal Prasad ,Principal, FAMT, Ratnagiri).
Mr. Vinod Chavan conveyed the objective of the program in the introductory speech. Mr. Venkatravi guided the students on behaviour on the road and emphasized on change in the behavior of citizens which is required for following safety rules. He asked students to volunteer in educating the large masses about the road safety.
