Review Paper Writing
The Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineeringorganized a guidance Session on Review Paper Writing on 13 September 2023 for BE EXTC students.
The objectives of this session are:

To develop an ability to use modern engineering tools, techniques and resources for plagiarism checking.

To create awareness of ethics in technical paper writing.

To create an ability to comprehend technical literature and presentation skills.

To demonstrate an ability to identify changing trends in engineering and learn to access sources for new information.
The session was conducted by Prof. Amol Sutar. Prof. Amol Sutar guided the students about the Literature survey and how to write a review paper. He introduced students to reading skills for a technical paper and, a list of technical journals related to specific domains. Prof. Sutar also explained the concept of plagiarism and the use of plagiarism check software. The importance of ethics, while writing technical papers and acknowledging the others research work, was also discussed in this session. Finally, information about the review paper competition was given by the Department Project Coordinators.
The session was coordinated by Prof. G. S. Bhosale of the EXTC Department, under the guidance of the Head of EXTC Dr. S.V. Chougule. 43 Students of BE EXTC attended the session and discussed their doubts. Student shared their feedback on this session.
