Guest Lecture on ‘Preparation for MPSC’
A guest lecture on Preparation for MPSC was organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering on Monday, 24th September, 2018. Mr. Sanket Devalekar, FAMT Alumnus, who has recently passed MPSC exam and joined as Dy. SP (Excise) was the speaker. Total 103 students were present for the lecture.
During the speech, he shared his journey of success. He explained the basics of the competitive exams like various posts for which exams are conducted, their method of conduction and finally duties and perks of these posts. Further, he interacted with the students as to how to prepare and study for such exams, what memory techniques can be used to remember the huge data, method of study, use of various website which provide assistance for competitive exam aspirants. He gave the tips for the preparation of interview and dos & don’ts of the interview.
In question session, the students asked various doubts related to subject selection, salary offered, age limit, reservations, duration for preparation and exact time to start for preparation. Mr. Sanket gave satisfactory answers to all. The lecture was motivating for the students and interacted personally with him to seek information about their area of interest.
Initially, Ms. Pranali Tayshete B.E. Electrical introduced the guest and Prof. M. N. Tagare welcomed him with a bouquet. Prof. M. N. Tagare, Prof. Vaibhav Sansare, Prof. Sudhir Wamane along with Viraj Brid, Ms. DivyaJagtap and team EESA coordinated the event. It ended with a vote of thanks.
