Engineers Day Celebration
The Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering (EXTC) and the Association for Students of Electronics and Telecommunication (ASENT) celebrated Engineers Day on 15th September 2022. Engineers Day is celebrated to show gratitude to the Legendary Engineer Sir Dr Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya for his huge contribution to the nation.
Dr. Kaushal Prasad, Principal of Finolex Academy of Management & Technology addressed the students on qualities of good engineers and their role to build a strong nation. Dr. S. V. Chougule, Head of EXTC Department shared her views about the roles and responsibilities of students as Engineers in the current era. All faculty and staff members along with EXTC students were present for this event.
Prof. G. S. Kulkarni motivated students to participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities for balanced academics. Prof. M. K. Zagade, ASENT Faculty In-charge, congratulated students for arranging the event successfully. She motivated students to participate in different activities such as NTRO (National Technical Research Organization). All the speakers wished students on the occasion of Engineers Day.
Mr Adil Shaikh, T.E student, presented a PowerPoint presentation on the History of Engineering. Many Technical events were organized in the Department which helps to inculcate the competitive spirit among the budding engineers.

The event was successfully concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr Pradnyesh Dhapare, Student Chief Coordinator- ASENT.
This program served the following objectives:

To motivate students for the great work done by Sir M. Visvesvaraya towards the country and Society.

To inculcate Teamwork and Communication Skills in students.

To create awareness of the responsibility of an Engineer towards Society.
