Engineer’s Day was celebrated very differently in FAMT this time on 15th September 2017. Since students from rural areas don’t have much exposure to technology, the students of standard IX from Nene High School, Shirgaon were invited to visit FAMT. Total 28 students along with their Head mistress Sou. Joshi visited the campus.
Prof. M. N. Tagare welcomed all the students. He explained the importance of engineering and facilities at FAMT. The students were taken to various departments. Prof. P. J. Kadam of Electrical department explained uses of industrial automation by demonstrating a working model using PLC. Mr Biradar from Electronics department explained the importance of electronics in daily life, solar tree, automatic sorting machine and qudracoptor.
