Engineer’s Day and Teacher’s Day Celebration
Association of Computer Science Engineering Students(A.C.S.E.S) organized a function to celebrate Engineer’s Day and Teacher’s Day titled “Engineer’s Day and Teacher’s Day Celebration” on 15th September 2022. Prof. V.V Nimbalkar (H.O.D, CSE-AIML Dept), Prof. A. N. Shetye (ACSES, Faculty Coordinator) and all the faculty members, students of S.E and T.E of the CSE department attended the program.
The program made the students know about the Father of Engineers, Sir Mokshagundam Vishveshwaraya, and the significant milestones of his career as an Engineer, Scholar and Statesman. It motivated the students to face challenges and think of real-life problem solutions and make students aware of various aspects of Engineering.
The function began by felicitating all the teachers and committee heads. Followed by the motivational speech on expectations from an engineer, by Prof. V. V. Nimbalkar (H.O.D, CSE Dept). Prof. A.N. Shetye shared his thoughts about being an engineer and a teacher, Prof. V.M Kulkarni told the importance of mathematics in engineering in her speech.
Students expressed their gratitude towards their faculty members through their speeches. Topics of speech were based on the celebration of Engineer’s Day and Teacher’s Day, prepared by Omkar Khade(TE CSE), Gaurav Vaze(TE CSE), Kadambari Prabhuvalwalawalkar(SE CSE) and Sanika Pawar(TE CSE). Ms. Manali Jangale anchored the function. Prof. Akshay N. Shetye was the faculty coordinator and Mr. Omkar Khade and Mr Gaurav Vaze were the student coordinators of the program. A total of 81 students of SE and TE CSE(AI & ML) participated in it. The program ended with a vote of thanks. The program was organized and conducted under the guidance of HoD. Prof. Vrishali V.
