The Department of Electronics Engineering organized a Seminar on “Embedded Systems” on 18th September, 2019 for S.E to B.E. Electronics Engineering students and B.E. Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering students.
Mr. Manish Baing, an alumnus of Electronics Engineering Department (2011 Batch), delivered the seminar. Mr. Manish is currently working as a Senior Firmware Engineer in Eaton Company, Pune, with a work experience of more than 7 years. The seminar intended to guide the students about the necessary skill-set required to become an Embedded System Engineer and listen to his work experience too.
Accordingly, Mr. Manish guided the students regarding the skill-set required to become an Embedded System Engineer and ways to acquire and improve their knowledge by sharing few website links and references. Emphasis was given on using open-source tools. He also shared his experience and detail on his career progression after graduation to guide the students to pursue their career. The projects that he executed needed multidisciplinary knowledge. So he urged students to acquire multidisciplinary knowledge to make themselves capable enough to accept the change and be ready to face the challenges. Mr Manish assured students to help them in enhancing their knowledge.
The seminar was co-ordinated by Prof. Vrishali V Nimbalkar under the guidance of Prof. Girish G Bhide (HOD Electronics Engineering Department). Around 65 students attended the seminar.
