Electrical Engineering Department successfully organized its technical festival ‘Elektra 2k18’ from 29th to 30th January, 2018 based on the theme of ‘Evolution of electrical field’. ‘Elektra’ symbolizes ‘shinning bright’.
The fest commemorated with the inauguration ceremony and a guest lecture by Colonel Ravikiran Kadam (Retd.) on Career in Defence. Principal Dr. Kaushal Prasad, HOD Prof. SuhasMhabadi, EESA faculty in-charge Prof. Jayant Mane along with other faculty members and HODs of other department were present for the ceremony. EESA Head Pratik Gawade and LR Juili Bhadkamkar presented the report of EESA. HOD Prof. Suhas Mhabadi gave inaugural speech. All the contest viz. Techno-taskforce, Debate, Quiz, Calci War, Test Your English, Chess Blitz, Brainteasers, Mini Militia, Artlixir (art exhibition), Technical Presentation and Photography were efficiently carried out by the committees. The prize distribution was held on 31st January at 4 pm. Moreover, the prize for best Chief coordinator was given to Vikrant Zore for managing the contest ‘Brainteasers’ in a very innovative and efficient way. Thus, the Elektra tech-fest was successfully completed with active participation of students from different colleges.
