Donation Drive-2023 Organized by the Association of Chemical Engineering Students (ACES)
A Donation Drive was organized by the Association of Chemical Engineering Students (ACES) under an outreach program on 10th February 2023. The donation boxes were placed at prime locations in each department of FAMT for collection of items like stationery, nonperishable food items etc.
The collected items were donated to Z. P. School, Sheel (Patilwadi), a government primary school nearby the MIDC area Ratnagiri. Dr Nitin G Kanse, HOD Chemical Engineering Department, Prof. S. B. Bobde, ACES In-charge, Mr Deep Shelar and Ms Purva Vanjari, ACES Chief Coordinator and the students of BE Chemical Engineering coordinated the event excellently.
The students from the department took active participation and donated a Water Purifier RO System to the school. The students gave positive feedback and requested to conduct the drive every year. Their efforts were appreciated by the school authorities.
