Departmental Advisory Board (DAB) meeting
Departmental Advisory board meeting was held on 02/05/2021 in online mode through Google meet. The members of Departmental Advisory Board (DAB) were from different domain such as industry, academician, alumni, students and parents.
Prof. M. S. Modak briefly introduced all Departmental Advisory Board (DAB) members. HoD, Electrical Prof S. H. Mhabadi presented information about the department, such as facilities available, rank holders, result analysis and placement details of the department.
This was followed by an open discussion among members of DAB. Prof. Bhooshan Rajpathak suggested to invite industry persons to finalize Co and Po, so as to meet industry requirements. He also suggested to conduct STTP for students, which is related to syllabus but beyond syllabus, advanced topics. Mr. Rajesh Shirsat suggested to conduct STTP on upcoming topics, he also suggested to help to conduct session on roof top solar systems.
Afshan Majgaonkar (S.E electrical student) suggested to conduct carrier oriented program. Mr. Nitin Palsuledesai ( Ex.Engg. MSEDCL) appreciated solar pump project completed in Electrical Engg. Department. Mr. Ninad Behere suggested to conduct global lecture from MNC. Mr. Sanjay Paradkar (parent representative) appreciated online teaching.
Advait Halbe (alumni representative) suggested to make students aware about government examinations and software platforms available online.
Prof. M. N. Tagare expressed vote of thanks.
