CSE Department Held FreshFlix 2k23
The Association of Computer Science and Engineering Students (ACSES) organized a welcome function titled “Freshflix 2k23” on 26th August 2023.
The welcome ceremony started with a brief introduction and lamp lightening and worship of goddess Saraswati who is a symbol of knowledge and wisdom. The ceremony was graced by the Principal, Dr. K. K Prasad, Head of IT Department, Dr V. A. Bharadi, Head of Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) Department, Prof. V.V. Nimbalkar and all faculty members teaching to SE, TE and BE students of Computer Science and Engineering Department(CSE).
The function provided a platform to promote interaction, teamwork and management skills among students. It also helped the freshers to know about what activities of the students association, and the achievements of students and faculty members of the department.
Ms Sanika Pawar and Ms Kadambari Prabhuwalawalkar shared an introduction of the department and the program. Thereafter, dignitaries, all faculty and staff members were felicitated. Dr Kaushal Prasad appreciated students for their wonderful grades in the university exams and motivated all students for holistic development. Dr. V.A. Bharadi inspired students to carry out research activities. Prof. V.V. Nimbalkar highlighted the purpose of the activity for students. Faculty Incharge of ACSES Prof. A. N. Shetye in his speech told students the importance of sharing knowledge in academics. Mr. Zohaib Hamdule, a student representative, expressed gratitude and respect to all faculty members of the department and told freshers how the department supports and guides students.
The department also congratulated and felicitated students who got placement in various MNCs. and achieved exceptional grades in their previous semester exam. A special collection of memories in terms of photos was presented to students which highlighted the participation and milestones achieved by the Department.
Mr Vedant Naik and Ms. Swarali Gadikar were the coordinators of the program, Prof. A. N. Shetye was the faculty coordinator, and Ms. Kadambari Prabhuwalawakar and Ms. Sanika Pawar hosted the program. A total of 70 students of SE TE and BE CSE-AIML department actively participated in it. The program was organized and conducted under the guidance Prof. Vrishali V. Nimbalkar.
