CSE Department Held AI Awareness Program
Association of Computer Science Engineering Students (ACSES) conducted a social activity, AI Awareness Program at Damle School Ratnagiri on 28th, September 2024. The main objective of this program was to raise awareness among school children about Artificial Intelligence. AI technology helps machines think like human beings but much faster than human beings, and thus, it is rapidly used in designing sophisticated expert systems.
The program began with a brief introduction of FAMT by Prof. Mahesh Jadhav, CSE (AI & ML) Department, the objective of the program was given by Mr. Shivam Parab, and Mr. Vansh Gandhi engaged the interactive session on “Artificial Intelligence”. Due to systematic efforts taken by CSE-AIML students for the session by preparing a PowerPoint presentation, videos and animations, the 1-hour session was full of fun, interesting and very informative. Respected Headmaster, Mr. Bhagwan Mote, of Damle School appreciated the efforts taken by our students The program was attended by students of 9th and 10th standard of Damale School. The student participants were very curious and thus asked many interesting questions regarding AI. The Class Teacher of the 9th Class appreciated CSE-AIML students and teachers for their humanitarian initiative and expressed a vote of thanks. They invited us for furthermore informative sessions for their school students. Around 55 students attended the program and shared excellent feedback.
Mr Vansh Gandhi and Mr Shivam Parab were the students in charge of the session, and Prof. Mahesh Jadhav was the faculty in charge of the program. Mr. K. Giriprastha and Miss Mihika Bhatkar were coordinators of the program, few other students of CSE-AIML Department too participated in this social activity.
