Chemical Engineering Department Celebrated Engineers’ Day
Department of Chemical Engineering in association with Association of Chemical Engineering Students (ACES) celebrated Engineer’s Day on 15th September 2023 to express gratitude and appreciation to the Engineers. It is celebrated in India to commemorate the birthday of Bharat Ratna Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvarayyagaru, recognizing his contributions to harnessing water resources in India.
The program commenced with the lightening of the lamp by Dr. N. G. Kanse, the Head of the department, and all faculty members. The teachers were felicitated by ACES student members and coordinators. Prof. Raju K. Marag and Prof. S. B. Bobade shared their views on this occasion.
The event was hosted successfully by Ms. Shravani Vichare. Mr Nilesh Gurav and Mr. Sumit Petkar delivered the speeches on Engineers’ day. After the program, various events like quiz competition, Pen fights and musical chairs were organized for the students by the ACES.
The event was coordinated successfully by Prof. R. K. Marag under the guidance of Dr. N. G. Kanse, the Head of the Department.Ms. Samiya Shivkar, a final-year student, expresse a vote of thanks.
